03/02/10 Tue OPEN REGISTRATION BEGINS
2010-2011 School Year

REMINDER -- Open Registration Begins TUESDAY, 3/2.

Limited openings in Grades 1-6 . . . Please read . . .

Enrollment for the 2010-2011 school year is well underway.  As of today, February 5th, we already have 112 enrolled.

This is just a reminder that current students have first option at class openings until March 1st.  Beginning Tuesday, March 2nd, enrollment will be open to the public.  Class openings will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The PVCS Board of Directors has made the decision that there will be no double classes in grades K5-6 unless there is sufficient enrollment -- a minimum of 18 or a maximum of 22.  When a grade level has 22 students enrolled, a waiting list will be used to determine if a combined grades class will be necessary to accommodate those on the waiting list.

We thought you would like to see how the enrollment stands at this time:

K4  3  K5  3  1st  9  2nd  10  3rd  12  4th  8  5th  12  6th  14  7th  1      8th  8  9th  13  10th  7  11th  3  12th  9

If you have any questions about the upcoming school year, please call the office.  Don't forget . . .register now to be sure you have a space in your desired grade.

GENTLE REMINDER

This school year is now under way.  It has been a smooth beginning, but there is one area that needs to be completed.  We still have a few families that have not signed up for our new tuition management program.  There are three ways you may do this:

1.  Pay all fees, including books, registration, and tuition at one time and in full.

2.  Give the office a pre-dated check for each month.  Mrs. Lisa Mitchell will hold your check and deposit it only on the date you have put on the check.

3.  Use the draft system provided through the F.A.C.T.S. Tuition Management Program.  This system will automatically draft your bank account for only the amount you specify.  We assure you, this system is very safe and secure.  The office will be more than glad to help sign you up.

It is imperative that you utilize one of these methods.  If you have not done one of these three, please do so as quickly as you can.  Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.

Severe Weather Information

In the event of severe weather, tune in to Channels 2, 4, 5, or 17 for up-to-date school closing information.  PVCS will be listed under "private schools".  Please watch and listen closely as we do not always follow the same schedule as the county schools.  If school is closed, the preschool will also be closed.

This information will also appear on the home page of this website.
